FAO: Trainman
Delighted to hear your Bicester journey is going so well. I have to say, the M4 has been relatively easy and it gives me a lot of flexibility. Famous last words I guess.
Interesting to see how Beeching's cuts are being undone - the Cotswold Line and the back on the agenda doubling of the line through Kemble.
Best to avoid blogging at the wheel as Plod doesn't look kindly on it. Unless I could dictate to the internet and then I'd be a blogging nightmare!!
All the best

Dear Train fellow
Here I am in deepest Essex witing to start a seminar (delivering a paper) and set out a some unearthly hour this morning from (near Kingham) to et here on time.
Checjed the LWW timetables etc but found it to be quicker and less stressful via car, and yes, the M25
Gosh - know how you feel about driving.
Not only more expensive by train but far more frustrating when you see the only possible way by train would be to start the night before!!!!!!
BY THE WAY - COME ON WE NEED TO HEAR ABOUT @HAPPENINGS ON YOUR NEW JOURNEY ROUTE TO READING

Dear Train Fellow (or could that now be Car Fellow?)
The silence has lasted too long - we travellers need your update on events - is it better by car now, sitting in a luxurious seat with the countryside wizzing by en route to Reading?
Great news on LWW - saw in Cotswold Journal passengers to be involved in planning the new timetable post double tracking upgrade this year - guess they need your expert input to get it on an even keel.
It would be great to input the journey time you have with the competing rail journey time!!!!!
Regards
Train man
